Statement of
Faith
The Bumbaugh Family is a non-profit ministry that exists to
uplift and glorify the name of Jesus Christ. We are His
ambassadors on this earth. We want to use the gifts God has
given to us to encourage the believer and to give an invitation
to the unsaved to accept Jesus as their Savior.
- We believe
God Almighty created the heavens and the earth and is supreme
over all creation.
- We believe
that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless
life, taking on the bodily form of a man, and was crucified at
the age of 33 for the sins of the world. He died on a cross,
and was raised to life 3 days later to prove that sin and
death had been conquered and that His claims to be God were
true. Jesus now reigns with his Father in heaven where he is
awaiting His return to earth for those that are saved.
- We believe
salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Our sins are
forgiven only by the blood of the Lamb of God. It is not by
works. The book of James tells us that our works are an
outpouring of our love for our Savior, but not the way to
salvation and eternal life.
- We believe
the Holy Spirit intercedes, empowers, enlightens comforts,
teaches, instructs, and guides us as we journey through our
Christian walk.
- We believe
the Bible is the Word of God and is God’s revelation to
mankind.
